Cave Men, dinosaur bones and different tribes.  Yes, we all knew cave men used dinosaur bones as tools but what if they used the bones for more than tools and weapons?

It seems that there were three tribes, each with their own colour of dinosaur bones.  The bones had pegs and holes which allowed one to plug them together in very much the same way that Centurions plug and pegs work together - not a huge surprise considering that they were both made by the same company.

There were also accessories like the Bone Hook pictured above which worked together with the dinosaurs to form an even larger variety of contraptions.

It's a pity these toys weren't as popular... it's also a pity that Kenner didn't make these compatible with Centurions as well.
