Just a few years before the British handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997, a Hong Kong toy maker was putting out toys in 1991 that were initially dubbed Terra Defenders but was marketed internationally under the name Multimac.  The first series was the Galaxy series though and the original three toys included Sky Patroller, Radar Cannon and Cannon Tractor.

Well, it didn't do too well, but it wasn't a complete flop either.  Silverlit toys continued to improve the toys and the packaging and the concept and sold the toys in the west as Multimac.
