Predator.  The Arnold Schwarzeneggar movie that started it all.  Although this toyline was releases in the early nineties, many would consider that it to be part of the late eighties Aliens line.  Besides the movie, there was a whole comic series, a movie sequel and plans for an "Aliens vs Predator" movie.

[Aliens vs Predator 2 Pack]

There were two series of the toys, sometimes classified as Series 3 and Series 4 (of the Aliens toyline).  The Predator were advertised and marketed as an alternative enemy to the Aliens, even the packaging on the toys shows this.

[The stage is set for the ultimate battle between the universe's two most ferocious enemies.
It's the gruesome aliens against the big-game hunting predator. Who will win...
The beast or the hunter? Can the predator stop the evil aliens before the galaxy is destroyed?!?!?

Series 3 had six figures.  They were comparable with Aliens figures of the time.  Each figure had its unique action as well, so they are actually quite fun toys.  Now the best one of the lot, in my opinion, is the glow-in-the-dark Stalker, complete with glow-in-the-dark helmet and missles.
